Barilla is an Italian food company that is popularly known for pasta worldwide, for readymade sauces in Europe, for bakery products in Italy, and for crisp breads in Scandinavia. The company produces, sells, and exports food products to more than 100 countries in the world. Barilla owns 30 production sites, 14 in Italy and 16 outside Italy, of which 9 are directly managed mills that provide most of the raw materials for the production of its pasta and bakery products. It offers its products under 13 brands, including Barilla, Mulino Bianco, Voiello, Pavesi, Gran Cereale, Pan di Stelle, Wasa, Harry’s, Academia Barilla, Misko, Filiz, Yemina, and Vesta. Barilla was founded in 1877 and is based in Parma, Italy with presence in several other countries in Europe, Asia and Oceania, and America.
